INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL GENERATOR WITH REGULATOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Temporarily install the generator with regulator assembly.
(b) Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, install the 2 stud bolts.
Torque:
9.8 N·m {100 kgf·cm, 87 in·lbf}
(c) Install the bolt.
Torque:
25 N·m {255 kgf·cm, 18 ft·lbf}
(d) Install the generator splash guard cover assembly to the generator with regulator assembly with the 2 nuts.
Torque:
25 N·m {255 kgf·cm, 18 ft·lbf}
(e) Connect the wire harness to terminal B with the nut.
Torque:
9.8 N·m {100 kgf·cm, 87 in·lbf}
(f) Close the terminal cap.
(g) Connect the 3 connector.
(h) Engage the clamp.
2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

4. INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
HINT:
When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function thatcompletes learning when the respective system is used.

REASSEMBLY PROCEDURE 1. INSTALL GENERATOR DRIVE END FRAME BEARING (a) Using SST and a press, install a new generator drive end frame bearing. SST: 09950-60011 09951-00470 SST: 09950-70010 09951-07100
(b) Fit the tabs of the retainer plate into the cutouts of the generator drive end frame to install the retainer plate...

the top of the windshield near the rearview mirror.

Before refueling, close all the doors, windows, and the liftgate/trunk
lid, and switch the ignition OFF.
To open the fuel-filler lid, pull
the remote fuel-filler lid release.

To remove the fuel-filler cap, turn it counterclockwise.
Attach the removed cap to the
inner side of the fuel-filler lid.
