Toyota Yaris: Charging System / Generator Control Circuit Internal Electronic Failure (P062049)
DESCRIPTION
The alternator performs self-diagnosis of its internal circuits to detect malfunctions (open or short circuits).
The ECM receives the result via LIN communication and stores a DTC.
| DTC No. | Detection Item | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area | MIL | Note |
| P062049 | Generator Control Circuit Internal Electronic Failure | All of the following conditions are met (1 trip detection logic): -
Ignition switch ON.
-
Except during engine cranking.
-
Auxiliary battery voltage is 10.5 V or higher.
-
No malfunction in the LIN communication system.
-
Open or short in EXC circuit, or abnormal waveform for PH circuit.
| Generator assembly | Comes on | SAE Code: P0620 |

DESCRIPTION The certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) generates a request signal and transmits the signal to the front door outside handle assembly RH (electrical key antenna) at intervals of 0.25 seconds. For the front door outside handle assembly RH (electrical key antenna) to detect when the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is brought close to the vehicle, a signal requesting a response from the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is transmitted within approximately 1 m (3...
DESCRIPTION Vehicles which are equipped with ABS (Anti-lock Brake System) detect the vehicle speed using the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) and speed sensors. Each speed sensor monitors the wheel rotation speed and sends a signal to the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly)...
