When the ECM detects that it is not functioning normally, DTC P160700 is stored.

HINT:
Read the freeze frame data using the GTS. When a malfunction is detected, various engine control parameters are stored as freeze frame data and can be useful for troubleshooting.
PROCEDURE
1. | CLEAR DTC |
(a) Clear the DTCs.
Powertrain > Radar Cruise1 > Clear DTCs

2. | CHECK FOR DTCs |
(a) Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
HINT:
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
(b) Check for DTCs.

The front seat belt pretensioners are designed to deploy in moderate or severe frontal, near frontal collisions.
