Toyota Yaris: Pre-collision System / Stop Light Relay Actuator Stuck (C142571)
DESCRIPTION
The stop light switch and skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) output stop light signals. If the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) detects a malfunction in circuits related to the stop light, it informs the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly via CAN communication, and DTC C142571 is stored.
DTC No. | Detection Item | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
C142571 | Stop Light Relay Actuator Stuck | When the ignition switch is ON for 3 seconds or more, a stop light circuit malfunction signal is received from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) for 1 second or more. | Vehicle stability control system |
PROCEDURE
