PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SECURITY HORN ASSEMBLY

(a) Check the operation.

(1) Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the security horn assembly.

Standard:

Measurement Condition	Specified Condition
Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1	Horn sounds
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2	Horn sounds

If the result is not as specified, replace the security horn assembly.

1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE SECURITY HORN ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the bolt and disengage the hook, and remove the security horn assembly.

Installation

INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL SECURITY HORN ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the hook to install the security horn assembly with the bolt.

Torque:

12.5 N·m {127 kgf·cm, 9 ft·lbf}

(b) Connect the connector.
