HINT:
When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING

2. REMOVE ROOF DRIP SIDE MOULDING LH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
4. REMOVE ROOF TOP MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE ROOF ANTENNA ASSEMBLY WITH ANTENNA COVER

6. REMOVE ROOF OUTSIDE COVER
NOTICE:
(a) Use the protective cover to protect the window glass or body panel as shown in the illustration.
(b) Using scissors, pull the roof outside cover and make a notch in the roof outside cover so that it can be easily peeled off.

NOTICE:
Do not scratch the body panel with scissors.
HINT:
The roof outside cover has less adhesive residue when pulled vertically.
(c) Dilute the surfactant to about 4%.

(d) Add diluted surfactant to the spray.
(e) Remove the roof outside cover while spraying the spray containing surfactant on the area where it has been removed as shown in the illustration.
(f) Add isopropyl alcohol or equivalent to the spray.

(g) Using a spray containing isopropyl alcohol or equivalent to spray on the area where the roof outside cover has been peeled off as shown in the illustration.
HINT:
Do not spray isopropyl alcohol or equivalent all at once, only on the cleaning area.
(h) Using a scraper, remove the glue remaining on the roof panel where the spray containing isopropyl alcohol or equivalent was sprayed as shown in the illustration.

HINT:
using a cloth, remove the peeled glue.
(i) Using a isopropyl alcohol or equivalent to soak a cloth and wipe the entire roof panel.
NOTICE:
Be sure to wipe off the remaining isopropyl alcohol or equivalent so that there is no sticking of the roof outside cover.
(j) Using an air gun, remove dust and other foreign matter adhering to the roof panel.
If a key is left in the vehicle, the functions of the key left in the vehicle are temporarily suspended to prevent theft of the vehicle.
To restore the functions, press the unlock button on the functions-suspended key in the vehicle.
