DESCRIPTION

When a communication malfunction is detected between the forward recognition camera and an ECU or sensor, a DTC is stored.

U012687	Lost Communication with Steering Angle Sensor Module Missing Message	When the ignition switch is ON for 3 seconds or more, a communication malfunction between the forward recognition camera and the steering sensor continues for approximately 1 second or more.	CAN communication system
U012987	Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module Missing Message	When the ignition switch is ON for 3 seconds or more, a communication malfunction between the forward recognition camera and the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) continues for approximately 1 second or more. U013187	Lost Communication with Power Steering Control Module Missing Message	When the ignition switch is ON for 3 seconds or more, a communication malfunction between the forward recognition camera and the power steering ECU assembly continues for approximately 1 second or more. U015587	Lost Communication with Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module Missing Message	When the ignition switch is ON for 3 seconds or more, a communication malfunction between the forward recognition camera and the combination meter assembly continues for 8 seconds or more. PROCEDURE

CLEAR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs.

Chassis > Lane Control > Clear DTCs

2.	CHECK FOR DTCs

(a) Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

HINT:

If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

(b) Using the GTS, check for DTCs.

Chassis > Lane Control > Trouble Codes
