INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the claws and guides to install the rear console box assembly as shown in the illustration.

Install in this Direction (2)

(b) Install the 2 bolts and 2 screws.

2. INSTALL REAR UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the clamp.

(b) Connect the connector.

(c) Engage the clips to install the rear upper console panel sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

3. INSTALL CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the guide and clips to install the console rear end panel sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

Install in this Direction

4. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the clamp.

(b) Connect the 2 connectors.

(c) While inserting guide (A), engage the clips and guides to temporarily install the console box assembly as shown in the illustration.

(d) To avoid damaging the console box assembly, make sure that the guide (A) is securely and correctly engaged.

(e) Engage the clips to install the console box assembly as shown in the illustration.

5. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Turn the shift lever knob sub-assembly and install it as shown in the illustration.

6. INSTALL SWITCH HOLE BASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect each connector.

(b) Engage the guides and clips to install the switch hole base sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

7. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

(a) Connect the connector.

(b) First align clip <A>, then align guide <B>.

HINT:

  • Do not engage the clips.
  • Make sure the clips do not move out of position.

(c) While holding the parts in place so that clip <A> do not move out of position, engage the guides and press the clips and claws in the order shown in the illustration to install the lower instrument panel finish panel.

HINT:

Check that the lower instrument panel finish panel is securely installed and that none of the clips and claws are raised up or not properly engaged.

8. INSTALL CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT COVER

(a) Engage the guide and clip to install the center lower instrument cover as shown in the illustration.
