DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the front fog lights.

PROCEDURE

1.

READ VALUE USING GTS

(a) Turn the light control switch to the TAIL position.

(b) Turn the front fog light switch on.

(c) Using the GTS, read the Data List.

INSPECT FRONT FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the A104 front fog light assembly LH connector.

(b) Turn the front fog light switch off.

(c) Turn the front fog light switch on.

(d) Using the GTS, read the Data List.

(d) Using the GTS, read the Data List.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

(a) Disconnect the A104 front fog light assembly LH connector.

(b) Disconnect the A105 front fog light assembly RH connector.

(c) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

(d) Disconnect the A86 semiconductor power integration computer connector.

(e) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
