DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD

(a) Remove the 11 clips and back door trim board.

2. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER

(a) Disengage the clips to remove the back door trim cover.

3. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY WITH COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH

4. REMOVE DOOR PULL HANDLE

(a) Using a moulding remover A, disengage the claws to remove the door pull handle.

5. REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

6. REMOVE BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

7. REMOVE NO. 2 BACK DOOR GARNISH RETAINER

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Disengage the claws to remove the No. 2 back door garnish retainer.

8. REMOVE REAR SPOILER ASSEMBLY

9. REMOVE NO. 1 BACK DOOR PANEL PROTECTOR

(a) Remove the No. 1 back door panel protector.

NOTICE:

Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the back door.

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the opposite side.

10. REMOVE BACK DOOR PANEL CUSHION

(a) Disengage the claws to remove the back door panel cushion.

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the opposite side.

11. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

12. REMOVE NO. 2 BACK DOOR WIRE

(a) Disconnect the 3 connectors.

(b) Disengage the clamps to remove the No. 2 back door wire.

13. REMOVE BACK DOOR DUST PROOF SEAL

(a) Disengage the claw to remove the 3 back door dust proof seals.

Please verify the different types of air bags which are equipped on your vehicle by locating the “SRS AIRBAG” location indicators.
