HINT:
-
If the judgment result is NORMAL, the system is normal.
-
If the judgment result is ABNORMAL, the system is malfunctioning.
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
HINT:
Read Freeze Frame Data using the GTS. The ECM records vehicle and driving condition information as Freeze Frame Data the moment a DTC is stored. When troubleshooting, Freeze Frame Data can help determine if the vehicle was moving or stationary, if the engine was warmed up or not, if the air fuel ratio was lean or rich, and other data from the time the malfunction occurred.
PROCEDURE
1. | CHECK ANY OTHER DTCS OUTPUT (IN ADDITION TO DTC P063051) |
(a) Read the DTCs.
Powertrain > Engine > Trouble Codes
NOTICE:
If P063051 is output, the VIN must be written to the ECM using the GTS. However, all DTCs are cleared automatically by the GTS when the VIN is written. If DTCs other than P063051 are output, troubleshoot them first.
