When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

2. REMOVE EQUALIZER STEREO COMPONENT COVER
(a) Disengage the clips to remove the equalizer stereo component cover. | |
3. REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT EQUALIZER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET
(a) Turn back the front floor carpet assembly as shown in the illustration. | |
(b) Remove the 2 bolts. | |
(c) Disconnect the 2 connectors.
(d) Disengage the guide to remove the stereo component equalizer assembly with bracket.
4. REMOVE NO. 1 EQUALIZER STEREO COMPONENT BRACKET
(a) Remove the 2 bolts. | |
(b) Disengage the guides to remove the No. 1 equalizer stereo component bracket.
5. REMOVE NO. 2 EQUALIZER STEREO COMPONENT BRACKET
(a) Remove the 2 bolts. | |
(b) Disengage the guides to remove the No. 2 equalizer stereo component bracket.
Automatic transaxle: Shift the selector lever to the P position and set the parking brake.
Press the push button start to turn off the engine. The ignition position is off.
