DESCRIPTION

If warm air blows from the registers regardless of the temperature setting of the air conditioning system, the following factors may be the cause.

  • Compressor with pulley assembly malfunction
  • Refrigerant pressure is extremely high or low
  • Refrigerant volume (low)
  • Clogged cooler condenser assembly fins
  • Cooling fan system malfunction
  • Mechanical locking of damper and damper link
  • No. 1 cooler thermistor malfunction
  • Open in air conditioner pressure sensor power source circuit
  • High inlet air temperature

PROCEDURE

CHECK SWITCH INDICATOR

(a) Operate each switch on the air conditioning control assembly and check that the switch indicators operate normally.

OK:

All switch indicators operate normally.

NG

GO TO OTHER DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE (A/C Switch Indicator does not Turn On)

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (FRONT LEFT AIR MIX DAMPER CONTROL SERVO MOTOR, FRONT RIGHT AIR MIX DAMPER CONTROL SERVO MOTOR)

(a) Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.
