DESCRIPTION

The forward recognition camera sends indicator illumination request signals to the combination meter assembly via CAN communication.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

When replacing the combination meter assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a combination meter assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the combination meter assembly will not match the information from the vehicle, and may cause a DTC to be output.

PROCEDURE

1.

READ VALUE USING GTS (CAN BUS CHECK)

(a) Using the GTS, perform CAN bus diagnostics and check that there are no malfunctions in ECUs connected to the CAN communication system.
