When starting the system from IG OFF → ACC ON, the stereo component equalizer assembly detects a malfunction in the left side front speaker system*

  • Harness or connector
  • Front No. 1 speaker assembly LH
  • Front No. 2 speaker assembly LH
  • Stereo component equalizer assembly

HINT:

*: To prevent false positives, fault monitoring is not performed in the following conditions:

  • Auxiliary battery voltage has decreased to 9.5 V or less.
  • Less than 3 seconds have elapsed after auxiliary battery voltage returned to normal.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH - STEREO COMPONENT EQUALIZER ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the H87 front No. 2 speaker assembly LH connector.

(b) Disconnect the O131 stereo component equalizer assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
