PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA

(a) Engage the guides to install the forward recognition camera as shown in the illustration.
NOTICE:
Do not touch the camera lens.
Install in this Direction |
(b) Connect the connector.
2. INSTALL FORWARD RECOGNITION LATCH
NOTICE:
Before installing the forward recognition latch, be sure to check that the forward recognition camera is securely installed.
(a) Engage the guides and claws to install the forward recognition latch as shown in the illustration.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER
(a) Insert the No. 1 forward recognition cover as indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration.

(b) Engage the clips and guides as indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to install the No. 1 forward recognition cover.
4. INSTALL NO. 2 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER
(a) Engage the guides to install the No. 2 forward recognition cover as shown in the illustration.

(b) Slide the No. 2 forward recognition cover to engage the claws.

5. UPDATE ECU SECURITY KEY

6. ADJUST FORWARD RECOGNITION CAMERA
(a) If the forward recognition camera has been replaced with a new one or the windshield glass has been removed and installed, it is necessary to perform Forward Recognition Camera Learning.
HINT:
Forward Recognition Camera Learning can be performed by using either One Time Recognition or Sequential Recognition or Driving Adjustment.

No special break-in is necessary, but a few precautions in the first 600 miles (1,000 km) may add to the performance, economy, and life of the vehicle.
Do not race the engine. Do not maintain one constant speed, either slow or fast, for a long period of time. Do not drive constantly at full-throttle or high engine rpm for extended periods of time. Avoid unnecessary hard stops. Avoid full-throttle starts.
