The following procedure is for the LH side.
PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR

2. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR COVER

3. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR LOWER COVER
(b) Disengage the claws to remove the outer mirror lower cover.
4. REMOVE SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR HOLE COVER
(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claws to remove the outer mirror hole cover. | |
6. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR RETRACTOR
(a) Remove the vinyl tape. | |
(b) Cut off the wire harness at the position as shown in the illustration. | |
(c) Disengage the guides to remove the gasket. | |
(d) Remove the 3 screws and base. | |
(f) Disengage the guide to remove the power unit assembly.
(g) Disconnect the connector. | |
(h) Remove the 3 screws and outer mirror retractor. | |
(i) Disconnect the connector to remove the wire harness from the outer mirror retractor. | |
